Today’s environmental challenges are increasingly interdisciplinary in nature and require professionals who have a strong foundation in science, are able to think across boundaries, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders. The Environmental Science Track focuses on the analytical aspects at the forefront of today’s environmental fields.
The University of Utah designed the environmental science master’s degree for people who want to work in private industry, government organizations, or non-profits in the areas of sustainability, water, environmental health, chemistry, and biology.
If you recognize the need to continue your professional development and expand your core scientific knowledge the Professional Master of Science and Technology in Environmental Science might be the graduate program for you.
Please note: the PMST degree is an “in-person” program. While some courses can be taken remotely, the majority will require students to be on campus.
